With All My Heart!

With All My Heart Hot tears ran down her cheeks as she sat down and began to pour out her heart…her story.   It was a story spilling over with half-truths, hidden secrets, and a betrayal that led to the relationship fragmenting into a million pieces.  ”I loved him with all my heart and overlooked so much…and it still didn’t work!”

Maggie’s story has happened to millions of others, yet listening to her story was disturbing to say the least.  If she had never left the relationship, she probably would not be alive today.

Everyday people are faced with unimaginable situations that are so heartbreaking, they lose hope. It is not by chance that they cross our paths looking for help.

God sends people into all our lives who are living indescribably mind-boggling, messy, messed-up lives.

Their situations seem unfixable…but with God, there is always His hope and His peace!

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation.  But take heart, I have overcome the world.”    John 16:33

I love that we serve a redeeming God, a God who sees nothing or no one as unfixable, a God who mends the broken hearted, a God who restores what has been taken, and a God who loves us with an everlasting love!

“I have loved thee with an everlasting love.”  Jeremiah 31:3

It is with God’s JOY we can share JESUS THE HOPE OF ALL HOPES…to a world that longs for love!

We have the privilege to say, “I want to share someone with you who knows you by name and cares about every tiny detail of your life.  Oh, and the best part is… HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!”

“Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love.  1 John 4:7-8

I get excited about this.  What about you?

When we take God into our lives, loving him with our whole heart means loving the people he puts into our path.  What a privilege!

  1. Thank you for sharing her story and your lovely heart, Cathy! I only wish I had known God the way I do now way back when things were horrible and messy. All the hope and comfort I missed as a child! The way you minister to children today touches me deeply. Blessings!

  2. Hi, Cathy,
I’m stopping by from Grace and Truth. Thanks for sharing this encouragement with us!
